The Pre-Apprenticeship program is for those who have the passion and interest for the Brick & Stone Masonry trades but lack the skills to be hired as an apprentice my a masonry employer.
Students will learn to safely and properly operate hand and power tools as well as equipment found on the construction site. You will also have opportunities to use masonry materials and supplies to practice the selection, preparation and installation of masonry materials.
A graduate from this program may be exempt from the Level 1 in-school apprenticeship program, should you choose to pursue a traditional Brick & Stone Masonry Apprenticeship program.
